Born in Monte Carlo, Monaco, on October 16, 1997, Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc, widely known as Charles Leclerc, is a Monegasque racing driver. His career highlights include clinching the World Karting Championship in 2011, the GP3 Series title in 2016, and the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2017, all as a rookie. He made his Formula 1 debut with Sauber in 2018 before joining Ferrari in 2019, achieving the runner-up position in 2022. Leclerc was part of the Ferrari Driver Academy from 2014 to 2018 and is the older brother of fellow racing driver Arthur Leclerc, who joined the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2020.
