Teren Delvon Jones, better known as Del the Funky Homosapien or Sir DZL, is an alternative hip-hop musician, producer, and singer born on August 12, 1972, in Oakland, California. Initially associated with his cousin Ice Cube's group Da Lench Mob, Del released his debut solo album I Wish My Brother George Was Here in 1991, supported by Ice Cube.
